Distilled at Aberlour-
This whisky was aged in a buorbon Hogshead for 7 years and 6 months and than finished in a Portuguese Red Wine (Madeira Barrique) for 4 months
It was bottled at cask strength of 54%, keeping its natural colour and without chill filteration
Colour
Late Summer Sunset
Nose
A fragrant Granola sweet toasted barley together with the spicy vanilla from the Bourbon cask and the succulent fruitiness from the Portuguese wine cask are held in a halo of oak tannins. Young and vibrant. Hints of riverbank flowers and heather in bloom balance beautifully with the Portuguese wine overture
Palate
Fresh, vibrant and absolutely delicious. For such a young spirit, what it lacks in maturity it makes up for in personality and given its age, the oak defers to the quality of the distillate and the wine overture closes the show beautifully with the warmth and mellowness of its birthplace
Finish
Lasting and warming with a smooth, creamy sherry notes, soft wood and a touch of salt
